How We Work

Customized in Design.
Standardized in Delivery.

Carve Creation moves each project through eight defined stages—
from preliminary pricing and paid sample development to production, testing, delivery, and closeout.
At every stage, the required information, responsibilities, deliverables, approvals, and release point are clearly identified.

The Carve Creation Delivery Framework

Eight Stages. One Controlled Project Record.

Each stage defines the required client information, Carve Creation deliverables, approval requirements, and release point—creating a clear path from preliminary pricing to final closeout.

Preliminary pricing review

01 — Preliminary Price Aligned

We review the available scope, quantities, specifications, delivery requirements, and known compliance needs to prepare preliminary pricing.

Deliverable: Preliminary pricing package

Advance when: The client confirms budget alignment and authorizes paid sample development when required.

We begin with price. If the preliminary pricing does not align with the project budget, there is no reason for either party to invest time in further development.

What the Client Provides

  • Available drawings and specifications
  • Product, furniture, signage, or lighting schedules
  • Preliminary quantities
  • Reference images
  • Material and finish expectations
  • Project location and jurisdiction
  • Owner, operator, or brand standards
  • Known testing, certification, or performance requirements
  • Required delivery date

What Carve Creation Manages

We review the available information, identify major cost drivers, assess manufacturing feasibility, and establish the assumptions needed for preliminary pricing.

Known fire, electrical, structural, accessibility, environmental, testing, or certification requirements that may affect the price or schedule are identified when information is available.

Carve Creation Deliverables

A preliminary pricing package containing:

  • Estimated scope and quantities
  • Preliminary pricing
  • Pricing assumptions
  • Inclusions and exclusions
  • Delivery basis
  • Indicative production schedule
  • Preliminary compliance assumptions
  • Testing and certification allowances when known
  • Major information still required

What Is Reviewed or Approved

Preliminary price, general scope, assumptions, exclusions, delivery basis, schedule, and known technical requirements.

What Releases the Next Stage

The client confirms that the preliminary price is within the project budget.

If physical samples are required, the client also approves the sample-development scope and pays the applicable sample development fee.

Preliminary pricing remains subject to final quantities, approved drawings, physical samples, specifications, testing requirements, packaging, and delivery conditions.

Drawings and sample review

02 — Drawings and Samples Approved

We coordinate product drawings, physical samples, finishes, technical requirements, testing criteria, and necessary revisions. Technical development and physical samples are billed as a separate fee, prior to any production agreement.

Deliverable: Approved drawing, sample, and technical package

Advance when: The drawings, samples, and performance requirements receive written approval.

Once the preliminary price is aligned, the products, materials, finishes, expected quality, and technical requirements are developed far enough to define what the client intends to purchase.

Project-specific physical samples, custom finishes, prototypes, and mock-ups require a sample development fee before work begins.

What the Client Provides

  • Design intent
  • Available product drawings
  • Material and finish references
  • Color standards
  • Performance requirements
  • Applicable project specifications
  • Owner, operator, or brand standards
  • Code and certification requirements identified by the project team
  • Consolidated comments from the designated approver
  • Required sample development fee

What Carve Creation Manages

We coordinate product drawings, dimensions, construction details, material samples, finish samples, color swatches, hardware, prototypes, mock-ups, and required revisions.

We also coordinate the agreed technical requirements applicable to each product, including fire performance, electrical certification, structural performance, material durability, finish resistance, and product-specific testing.

Project-specific regulatory requirements remain subject to confirmation by the client’s architect, consultant, or authority having jurisdiction.
